Bradley Jason Hunt

I'm a passionate and results driven Mechanical Engineer (Hons) with a plethora of experience in a variety of manufacturing disciplines, including sheet metal fabrication, fibreglass and carbon-fiber composites, polyurethane foams, CNC machining, and additive manufacturing.  Over the last 6 years I have worked in the Automotive industry, specialising in SSM level heavy vehicle modification. This works has included suspension redesigns and conversions, extensive chassis works, motorhome body and interior designing, including manufacturing of tooling, laminate design and development of composite manufacturing processes. In this role I also managed cross-functional teams across million dollar projects, implemented lean manufacturing strategies, and managed my own small team of junior engineers.

In 2024, I graduated from the University of Technology Sydney with first class honors, majoring in mechanical engineering (Hons) with a diploma in professional engineering practice (GPA: 6.18/7). I also graduated boasting achievements such as making the Dean's List and an academic record with proud results across the board.

In my spare time I enjoy planning and leading mountain adventure trips, (hiking, canyoning, skiing, mountain biking), camping, working on (and occasionally driving) my cars, and reading. These interests have helped to develop both my leadership skills, management ability, and technical design expertise. It is always a pleasure and a privilege when I get the opportunity to combine these interests and skills therefrom into my work.

In short, I have been driven by a passion for machines and mechanical design from a young ages, and I believe I have academic results and professional experience to back this up. I thoroughly enjoy solving engineering problems and manufacturing challenges, whether I am leading a team or getting to get my hands dirty.
